Lucy Florence Cultural Center is proud to embrace Greta Wallace and the Simply Greta collection of culturally elegant women's wear. Greta's personal style and flair are an excellent fit for Lucy Florence's sophisticated clientele.
According to Greta, “it’s about the love, the grace…. the service. A reminder of fashion that connects us to the elegant Elders and our motherland. Paying homage to the freedom that allows us to be cultural and fabulous!”
Greta Wallace has style in her DNA. Inheriting a gift from her mom in a small Caribbean village, Greta remembers the elegance and excitement that emits from a woman that feels good about a refined frock. She cultivated an even finer eye as a buyer/stylist for The Jacki Lewis Boutique.
Greta found a cultural home in Brooklyn’s Kinapps Natural Hair Salon in their celebrated “Primitive Boutique” in the 80’s. There she embarked on a personal journey for excellence in the fine art of buying Black. She prides herself in assisting in the growth of young designers and dressing the women of our community to perfection, her trademark and her personal brand.
Always in celebration of our African Diaspora, Greta has a discerning eye for fashion that is centered in Africa, meets the East, sometimes she takes it to the edge and goes beyond. Her most recent venue has been as co owner of the Brownstone Boutique in Harlem. Essence Magazine, Black Elegance, Black Hair Is, Spiegel, Black Odyssey have all elicited Greta’s expertise and styling sense for their pages.
We invite you to pay a visit to Simply Greta inside Lucy Florence Cultural Center where shopping is done with ease and grace. Your toughest decision will be which exquisite items you wish to add to your wardrobe right away.
