I would like to thank you for the most pleasant, effervescent experience of my 50th year celebration. My friends are still talking about it. However, I didn't give you the "props' for the excellent german chocolate cake. My mother made a german chocolate cake every year. I was an only child so, the whole thing was just for me and I would devour the whole thing. It was 3 layers and made from scratch. As I got older and moved from Chicago, the cakes got far and few in between. Then God blessed me with a daughter that could make them even better than my mom (i will never say that to my mom). I said all that to say, that daughter was at the party and we both were sceptical of the taste of your cake. But once again, I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to let my daughter taste the cake and her eyes lit up like mine with delight. That cake was "off the chain!" We both agreed that it was in competition with her cake and it was totally delectable!!!-- I would venture to say that I would travel from Fontana to L.a just to get a piece. I actually lived right around the corner from your place on Creed Ave from 1975-1983. Anyway, I'm sold on Lucy Florence and will spread the word. Thanks Again, Sanya B. Wiggs, the birthday girl

I was introduced to Lucy Florence Coffee House, etc. last year through an intimate luncheon affair with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. To say I was impressed is an understatement. The aesthetic ambiance that exudes warmth and an intrinsic glow with a flair of sophistication is inviting to the eyes, mind, body, soul and spirit. Ron and Richard were both welcoming and personable as myself and my sorors enjoyed our sisterly time together.

I returned to this extraordinary eatery/coffee house/art gallery/boutique in December to celebrate my 35th birthday and I partied like it was 1999, literally and figuratively. I danced alone, with a group and with Ron(who made me feel special and beautiful). It was an amazing night to begin my birthday celebration. As a new resident of Leimert Park I vowed that this would be the place for me to be... just me.

I am now planning my shower for the birth of my first child and I so anticipate the planning process with Richard and Ron as I know this will be a momentous occasion for myself and my significant other as well as an event to remember by my closest friends and relatives.

Make sure you visit Lucy Florence as you will feel right at home filled with love, delicious coffee, tea, cake, art and shopping; who could ask for more. I absolutely love the boutique, it's a must place to shop. Soon it will be your favorite place too!(renee_steven@yahoo.com)

I'm so glad I found this site. I'm a financial strategist and I am looking forward to attending my first 'meet and greet' event. It's always exciting to interact with others of like-mind.

I went to the networking lunch session last Sunday with Aliesh Pierce. This woman gave us so much information in a short time. Her skin and make-up tips were simple and I've already started using some of them with terrific results. I can't wait until next month when the topic will be using a pendulum. These lunches are a good way to learn something new and promote my business at the same time.
